Today we decided to get out of the house. We looked for a place not too far from home that we had never been. We decided to go to Bailey Island. It was a fund drive down a peninsula, and then three islands, Great Island, Orr's Island, and finally Bailey Island. We took Highway 24 until the very end, literally feet from the ocean.
The beach was quiet, except for a couple of guys getting ready to dive. Totally crazy in my opinion! It wasn't as windy and cold as we expected. Karis had a great time running around on the beach, until she did a face plant from tripping over a rock. It was a good place for sea glass, too.
